Welcome! I’m Diane and I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker. I have been providing therapy services to clients since 2010. I am a firm believer in the mind-body connection and the profound healing that can occur when both are incorporated into the treatment process. It is my belief that every individual possesses the innate ability to heal themselves. However, we all need guidance to help us along this path of healing, self-discovery, and self-acceptance so that we can learn and grow from our experiences. Whether you are recovering from trauma, want to address age-old wounds, or are simply overwhelmed by living in a fast-paced, chaotic city, I provide a warm, nonjudgmental environment for you to give voice to your story. I offer concrete tools and skills for you to utilize both in and out of therapy. By working with unhelpful thought patterns and beliefs that may be consciously or unconsciously held, we are able to create shifts in thinking, feeling, and behavior that lead to a happier and healthier you.
I graduated from Fordham University with a Masters in Social Work in 2009. Since that time, I have worked in a variety of clinical settings in New York City including a residential treatment facility, an outpatient clinic and a group private practice. I have held roles both as a clinician and in leadership. My passion is to work with individuals to discover their true selves and become the best versions of themselves possible.
I am certified in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) through EMDRIA. I have had training in Internal Family Systems (IFS), Mindfulness, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Cognitive Behavior Therapy (CBT) and Emotional Freedom Techniques (EFT). I offer Lucid Dreaming education and coaching and have completed Charlie Morley’s 100 hour Lucid Dream Facilitator Training. I am a registered yoga teacher (RYT 500) and have been teaching yoga since 2014.
